Standard and Specialty Trim Materials:

Standard trim materials include both finger-joint materials and medium density fiberboard.

Finger-jointed trim offer the advantage of solid wood but is typically factory – primed which lends itself to less warping and twisting. This type of interior trim can also be painted, making it a great choice for fascia, corner boards, trim base mouldings, shelving and cabinets. Davis-Hawn works with both Metrie and WindsorONE finger jointed trim product.

Medium density fiberboard (MDF) is an economical option that is great for DIYers and homeowners as it lends itself to easy installation. It comes pre-primed and is considered to be mold and fungus resistant. View our plywood offerings including MDF.

PVC is a synthetic baseboard, trim or molding option. At Davis-Hawn we offer exterior PVC trim from AZEK. This trim is resistant to weather elements making it a great option for homeowners concerned with storm damage.
